Are you normal or are you different? How do you see the world? Is it real to you that the way you see and be in the world is different? Do you have the point of view that the way you see the world is the same as everyone else? What happens when you try to make the way you see the world the same as everyone else? Do you become normal?

Normal is the status quo, keeping up with the Jones’s, average Mr. Joe and this reality’s version of the right way to live. Has that ever truly been enough for you? Or have you always desired something so different that you wouldn’t even let yourself know how not normal you truly are?

Would you be willing to be the not normal you truly be and celebrate you as the difference in this world, that if you will be it, will create more for everyone and everything?

Imagine a world where everyone is encouraged and empowered to be them no matter how wacky, weird and wonderful they truly be. What would the world be like if everyone was being the talents and abilities they truly be? Has the not normal of you been calling for something different, to break the shackles of this reality and be an essential element in creating something beyond this reality? Is this something that the consciousness of the universe is asking for? Does the earth require something different now? Do you require something different of you?

Do you know someone that is not normal that is an inspiration to you? Do you think to yourself “Wow, that person is so different and they have so much ease with being not normal and they are such a gift in this world”? Now take a moment to be with you. With that sense of gratitude you have for others, apply that to your sense of you and the difference you be. And let it expand and grow. Include more and more as you expand your sense of gratitude. Allow the trickles and flows of gratitude to spread through the world as a celebration of the unique particulates of every being. And be that sense of gratitude as you walk with this earth and with the people you meet and with the universe.

Often there is an idea that if everyone was the same or similar in the way they think or the way they look or who they vote for or which religion they choose to be part of, that the world would be a better place. “If only everyone just got it the way I get it, everything would be right in the world.” What would it be like if we had no point of view about what anyone else was choosing? Being in allowance of all points of view. Would separation still exist if allowance was the dominant energy here on planet earth? Could it still exist?

What will you choose to be today? What will your choices create in 5,10, 20, 50, 100, 1000 years? What choice do you have to be the not normal you truly be and will you now choose to be it?

I have to say we are all not normal in our own way. Most often we probably subdue this side of ourselves and try to control the internal behavior of our deep dark weirdness. I would have to say the people who would choose to say their normal are not normal in their own right, even if its not embraced. I like how you pose the question, What would it be like if we had no point of view about what anyone else was choosing?
I choose to believe that if this were the case….life would get incredibly boring. I think differences in all of us, make the better of each one of us. Sometimes we just have to control our thoughts, and not get defensive in the means of a discussion of different points of view but to thrive in the curiosity of learning a different perspective.
Thank you for the great read!
