Celebrities and politicians aren’t the only ones invested in creating the perfectly right―or perfectly rebellious―image.
It’s a trap many other people also fall into, which severely limits their choices in life.
Brendon Watt said on this month’s Creative Edge telecall:
When you’re trying to be right, you don’t allow yourself to access what you’ve hidden about yourself.
So, if you’ve decided you’ve created the right business or the perfect relationship, then everything else that’s actually true about you must be kept secret.
Why would you rather be right?
If you’re right, you have the satisfaction of knowing that everybody else is wrong and you don’t have to make any changes.
“The moment you make yourself right, you eliminate the freedom to change yourself instantaneously,” he added.
