The elegant city of Florence is considered the birthplace of that explosion of creativity and artistic genius called the Renaissance.

In Florence, Italy, at the time of their weekly VoiceAmerica Radio Show, the founder of Access Consciousness® Gary Douglas and co-creator Dr. Dain Heer talked about an exciting revival of a new and different kind.

“Consciousness is the new renaissance,” Dr. Heer stated.

Why consciousness? Consciousness is the awareness of infinite possibilities you had as a child when each day was a grand and glorious adventure. It is the capacity to change all the things in life you desire to change.

The beauty of consciousness is that it gets greater all the time. It doesn’t stop; it doesn’t stagnate. You’re never done with consciousness.

The first Renaissance followed the stagnant era of the Dark Ages and the bubonic plague that decimated the population of Europe. Dynamic figures like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael led a revival of arts and culture. As more and more people used their energy, money and time to create in all fields of endeavour and society as a whole began to thrive as never before.

“I think we’re pretty much at this point now,” Mr. Douglas pointed out, “I really feel like it is a new renaissance: the renaissance of possibility. It begins to be a world based on possibility not based on disability.”

In Access Consciousness classes around the world, Gary said, there is a pervasive a sense of greater possibilities. More and more people are talking about the amazing gifts they have to share and the change and magic they are creating in their lives. From a 15-year-old youth who regained his sense of happiness to a man in a wheelchair experiencing greater mobility than ever before, magic is seemingly everywhere.

Consciousness includes everything and judges nothing, neither the good nor the judgmental.

So each time you have a situation where you could go into judgement but choose not to, you allow yourself to access the spaces of possibilities that will eventually become available on this planet. Every conscious choice begets more consciousness.
