Guest Blog Post By Ricky Williams
Two years ago I received a call from a friend who was eager to tell me about how amazing this new thing she was into called “The Bars”. It sounded interesting, but a little too “out there” for me. My life was good. I had all the important things figured out … a good marriage; happy, healthy kids; a great job and millions in the bank. I didn’t need any new metaphysical or spiritual solutions because I didn’t have any more problems to solve. And, just in case any unforeseen obstacles came up, I knew I’d be able to “zen” my way through it with my meditation practice.
I had this mastered…I’d spent my whole life dodging, overcoming, transcending and fighting the good fight against all the ugliness life can throw at a person. However, after repeated attempts by my friend to get me interested in this bars stuff, I started to notice that there was something different about her. So, I asked her to resend me the information and two weeks later I was in my first Access Bars class.
During the class, I was constantly telling myself that there was no way it could be this easy. First of all, how could my life get any better? Secondly, if the bars were this amazing, how come I’ve never heard of it before? And thirdly, why is the class so cheap? After learning to run the bars and receiving the bars twice…I left the class convinced I had wasted my time and my money. That night I met an old friend for dinner at the beach. As the night progressed, I slowly came to realize that my life would never be the same again.
We ate at a Thai food restaurant in San Diego and I remember eating my soup and wondering why I’d never heard of this place before. Any place that made food that tasty should have been world famous. Little did I know at the time, it had little to do with restaurant. After dinner, we decided to take a short walk to the beach. As we walked down the street, my eyes were drawn to the night sky where I was blown away by how beautiful the moon and stars were. It was as if they were placed in the sky solely for my viewing pleasure.
The same with the damp wood of the steps down to the beach and the ocean, the sand and even the chilly winter breeze felt like it was there to care for and nurture me. Something was different. For the first time in my life I got that I didn’t have to fight or run or hide or protect myself from the world, that I could actually enjoy it.
The teacher from the bars class said something that stayed with me about “receiving”. How our points of views can limit our ability to receive and how the bars could change that…if you let it. It all made sense, finally. From that day forth, my life has continued to expand into more that I ever thought it could be. Instead of trying to conquer or overcome anything, I’m enjoying it…even the stuff I’m not supposed to.
Do you know something else is possible? Have you always known there is more?

Ricky, I have been listening to you on VoiceAmerica and your voice vibration has a beautiful clarity. I did Bars for a lady who said as I touched her head her sight brighten then back too normal when hands were off, perhaps she is receiving more now too.
